Alzheimer's Disease & Dementia Care Seminar 

Take the path to certification as a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP®) by participating in the Alzheimer’s Disease & Dementia Care Seminar approved by the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. This is the required seminar for qualified individuals pursuing CDP® certification, or those seeking further education and training in Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care.

Training is from 8:30 -5:00 at Windsor of Lakewood Ranch in Lakewood Ranch. Attendees will receive a training manual, 7 CEUs, and information on how to apply to become a Certified Dementia Practitioner. A light breakfast and lunch are included.

This course is available to assisted living communities, memory care communities, caregivers, health care practitioners, law enforcement, community organizations, public guardians, ombudsman and anyone else who is interested in learning about dementia.
