You must ask for the Kiwanis Kiwanis District 0r 2017 District Convention room rate of $104 when calling to register. The deadline for receiving the convention rate at the hotel is Wednesday, 5 July 2017 at 5:00 pm.. After this date, reservations may be accepted on a space and rate available basis only. The Kansas Kiwanis room rate is available from 4 August to 5 August 2017 only.

Kansas Kiwanis Foundation to Hold Silent Auction
The Silent Auction at the Kansas District Convention held by the Kansas Kiwanis Foundation will be divided equally between the Rock Springs District Project and the 50th Anniversary Scholorship Fund. Bring an item provided by your club or yourself.
Theme baskets, crafted items or homemade goodies would be great; or your own unique idea. Bring or send your club's donated items to the Conference.
Young Children Priorty One support for the children in Johnson County.
Infant Toddler Services of Johnson County is an early development and family support program serving children from birth to age three who have developmental disabilities or delays. They provide intervention and family support practices geared toward each family’s circumstances. They serve over 1600 children annually with 30% on Medicaid and 18% in foster care. These children are screened and must show a 25% or greater delay in any area of development.
Items needed:
Board or cloth books, diapers sizes 1-5, pull ups all sizes, wipes, gift cards to Walmart & HyVee.

The Overland Park Kiwanis Club invites you to the 2017 Kansas Kiwanis District Convention. The conference will provide you an excellent opportunity to learn more about Kiwanis with motivational speakers and enlightening breakout sessions. Don't miss the fun, fellowship, education and entertainment. |
Past International President Don Canaday will be joining us for the convention and will be bringing his Historic "Battle of the Bulge" American Flag with him. He will also be sharing his knowledge on Membership growth techniques with the attendees.
Friday night we will have two opportunities for Kiwanis Fun and Fellowship.

Tour The Church of the Resurrection
Take a tour of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood. View the stained-glass window (37 feet high by 93 feet across) in the new sanctuary. The 161 panels of glass depict stories from the Bible. Enjoy dinner in one of the nearby restaurants after the tour.

All Conference attendees must register and all must pay the appropriate registration fee.
Please read and follow the registration and payment instructions listed below and on the registration form.
The prefered method for registration is online registration by clicking on the "Register Now!" button above. You may also register using a paper copy of the registration form. Download the "Paper Version", fill it out and mail in with your payment to the address listed below.
Do not complete a separate online registration for spouses. Register Kiwanian spouses under the "Guest" section of the form.
No registration will be accepted without payment for registration fees. Costs of events and meals are not included in the registration fee. You can pay for your registration(s) online with a credit card or PayPal account; or pay with a check sent to the Kansas District office postmarked no later than July 5th 2017.
To pay online, check the "Pay with PayPal or Credit Card" option and click on the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page where you will be directed to PayPal. You can then pay with your own PayPal account if you have one or pay with a credit card by clicking on the "Don't Have a PayPal Account?" button under the PayPal account sign-in. You will then be taken to another screen where you can enter your credit card information. Be sure to enter your name and address exactly as it appears on your debit or credit card account.
If paying by check, check the "Pay by Check" option and send your check payable to the Kansas District of Kiwanis International for the amount shown to the:
