  Using Creative Assets to Achieve Points in the Sustainable Jersey Program

Does your sustainability plan include the arts and culture?  Sustainable Jersey, Creative New Jersey, The Center for Creative Placemaking, the National Consortium for Creative Placemaking and Bloomfield College are offering a training session where you will learn how to connect your creative assets to social, economic and community development planning to shape more sustainable communities. 

Come learn how your municipality can use its creative assets to achieve points in the Sustainable Jersey program. 

This session will feature a short overview of Sustainable Jersey and its current "arts and culture" actions. 

Topics Include: 

Overview of the Sustainable Jersey Program

Why the Arts are Important to Sustainability

Explanation of Arts and Culture Actions in Sustainable Jersey:   

  • Establish a Creative Team
  • Compiling a Creative Assets Inventory
  • Creative Placemaking

Case Studies: 

  • Woodbridge
  • MoCo Arts

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:   Green Team members, artists, municipal staff and officials, and anyone with an interest in arts and sustainability.
