Peter Busch is a multiple EMMY award winning journalist who anchors NBC2 News at 5, 5:30, 6 and 11pm. He won three consecutive Emmys for news reporting during his time at KPHO in Phoenix. In Southwest Florida, he has won the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award twice. The first was for a series of stories on Rio de Janeiro’s preparations for the 2016 Olympic Games. The second was for his reporting from Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria

Sheila Book began in broadcasting in 1993 as a Video Editor. While working full time for the NBC/FOX affiliate in Dayton, Ohio, she was also launching into radio as an On Air Personality for WXEG (The Edge). After 14 years on Dayton TV and Radio, she made her way to South Florida. Eric Strachan, an award-winning journalist, is the editor of Florida Weekly’s Naples and Bonita Springs editions. Previously, he had a 30-year career with the Naples Daily News in many newsroom roles and was its senior managing editor before leaving the newspaper in 2013. Prior to joining Florida Weekly in 2019, he was the director of research/private investigator with a boutique consulting firm that specializes in comprehensive, detailed investment research and due diligence. Jane Monreal is the weeknight evening anchor and investigative reporter at FOX 4 at 6, 10, and 11. Before moving to her home state, she worked in Los Angeles, Denver, South Texas, and Kansas City. Jane was nominated for an Emmy and was a first place recipient of the Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists for Investigative Series. Jane is married and a University of Miami alum. 

Mark Bickel is the Audience Development Director for The News-Press and Naples Daily News, part of the USA TODAY Network-Florida. He’s been in Southwest Florida since 2004. Bickel has held a variety of positions during his 33-year career with Gannett Co. In his current role, Bickel is responsible for the newsroom’s key revenue generating initiatives, including growing digital subscribers. He collaborates with leadership to develop bold strategies and serves as champion for paid subscriber growth plans.
