Meet SWFL Media Stars:

Alan Campbell, Anchor for NBC-2 News Today. Alan was born and raised in Toronto Canada.  Alan always dreamed about being a professional hockey player, but when that didn’t work out he did the next best thing, and work on cruise ships for 6 years traveling the world.  During his travels, Alan decided a career in broadcast journalism was going to be what he wanted to do.  He started his career in Charleston, South Carolina.  After 3 years, Alan moved to Texas and was the morning anchor for four years at a station along the southern border. He then went to Detroit and worked as the evening anchor/reporter for four years.  Now he is the morning anchor at NBC2 and is loving life in Southwest Florida and is so grateful for this amazing opportunity.

AJ Lurie started his career with Beasley Media Group in 2007 in Fort Myers, FL. After overseeing Beasley’s Delaware market the last 4 years, AJ has moved back to serve as the Vice President and Market Manager of the SWFL Market. He is a graduate of Florida State University. AJ served as the Chairman of the State Broadcasters Association Board for Maryland, DC, and Delaware. And sits on the board for the Florida Association of Broadcasters.

Steve McQuilkin is the Senior Manager for Content, Regional Business and Environment Editor, Topic Team Leader and Storytelling Coach at The News-Press and Naples Daily News.  In his position, he helps all of the reporters, plus his own team, find, report, and write stories with impact and relevance in Southwest Florida. He has twice served as the business editor and has also led the education team. He has also been executive metro editor, data editor, and real estate editor.

Jane Monreal, is the weeknight evening anchor and investigative reporter at FOX 4 at 6, 10, and 11. Before moving to her home state, she worked in Los Angeles, Denver, South Texas, and Kansas City. Jane was nominated for an Emmy and was a first place recipient of the Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists for Investigative Series. Jane is married and a University of Miami alum. 

Wendy Tooley, Sales Director at Gulfshore Life for 21 years and in the magazine advertising business for 30 years.  A veteran in the business, her career began in advertising with the launch of Men's Health Magazine.  She loves providing marketing experience to local companies big and small.  When she is not working, Wendy loves spending time with her husband Todd, her daughter Brooke who is currently attending FGCU and her son Brayden a Jr. in high school.    

Eric Raddatz, Fort Myers Editor at Florida Weekly. He also serves as the Editor and Creative Director at Ave Maria Sun and Babcock Ranch Telegraph, as well as Presentation Editor for West Villages Journal. He is an editor, columnist, writer and filmmaker. He is also a regular contributor for NBC in Fort Myers, the host of "T.G.I.M." and the founder of the Naples and Fort Myers Film Festivals.
