2021 Cimarron Council Pinewood Derby

Scouts will race against their own age-group (Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos/AOL, Scouts BSA).  The three fastest cars in each age-group will compete in the finals.  Age-group and finals will be double-elimination.

“Best Design” awards will be made to one car within each age-group.  Non-biased judges will be selected from the community and will judge the car based on the amount of youth participation in overall design. 

Lunch will be available for purchase starting at 11 am.

Registration for all ranks will begin at 8:00 am.  Please make sure the Scout's name & Pack/Troop # is on the car at check-in.  Once your car is at official weight, it will be considered checked-in.  Tools may be available to use if car is too heavy. 

If your car is not turned in by 9:15 am, you may not be able to race. Lions will begin their races at 9:30 am, remaining ranks will immediately follow.

Open Class will race before the finals. 

Car must be unpowered, fit on track, and stop at the end.
