Cost $25/per person and $40/day of registration

To bring in bigger gifts, leaders must identify the right audience to attract support. Nonprofit experts, Janeal and Marti understand what it takes, having raised millions of dollars for charity. Come learn from the best how to identify potential supporters for your nonprofit. In this fun-filled, action packed session you will:

1. Uncover prevailing truths on those who give to charity

2. Identify four major donor types, why they give and what you need to consider before approaching them for a gift

3. Discover prospecting tools that can help you identify your next donor capable of writing your charity a $10,000 check

4. Recognize how to prioritize your list of sources to maximize your time, energy and fundraising resources

Networking and light refreshments will precede the workshop.

Janeal Ford, MPA, CFRE 

Janeal Ford is a visionary whose ability to see a brighter future is matched by her action on ideas. Janeal received a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Utah and is a Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE). After two decades of experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge in best-practice fundraising. 

   

Marti Hess

Marti has over 20 years’ experience working with nonprofit organizations, primarily in the human services sector. Her skills range from program design to executive leadership. As a certified coach, Marti supports individual and organizational transition and growth by building bridges between diverse people, envisioning the big picture, and accelerating new initiatives with tangible results. Her leadership style is facilitative, working with others to develop strategic direction, implementing objectives, and achieving desired outcomes.
