Building Financial Projections for Business Plans - 1/4/2020 (9AM - Noon) - C0072 

This workshop is designed to walk students through the process of developing financial projections for their proposed business model.  Step-by-step instruction for preparing projected Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements for inclusion in their Business Plan will be covered.  

It is highly recommended that attendees be familiar with basic accounting principles or first attend our workshop on this topic before registering for this workshop.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • Understanding Financial Terminology
  • How to project sales volumes for proposed products/services
  • Pricing and projected revenue generation strategies
  • Elements of product/service cost
  • Determining sales Breakeven point
  • Calculating Sources and Uses of Capital required
  • Estimating working capital needs during start-up
  • Avaliable on-line resources
  • Use of financial projections in on-going business

Instructor: William Tice 

William is a retired financial and operations executive with McDonald’s.  As an advisor and mentor he has more than 35 years of business experience in various industries, including real estate finance, franchising, operations, and public accounting.  He has expertise in leadership, operations management, business valuations, and business policies development and implementation. He is skilled in strategic planning and execution, consulting, and developing managerial talent.  William has a BS in Business Administration / Accounting from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.  He is also licensed as a CPA (inactive) in the state of Tennessee.

$25 fee required at the time of registration by PayPal, credit or debit card.  Registration and payment  will be accepted at the door.

Non-registered attendees must check the workshop calendar after 6:00 Friday evening before the workshop to see if the workshop is cancelled.
