Because every foster child needs a bluebird

BLUEBIRD-ART-ON-A-STICK
Please donate a little piece of magic to help raise awareness for our children in foster care. Our goal is 200+ bluebirds - one Bluebird-Art-On-A-Stick for each foster child in our community.

Make them playful or beautiful. Simple or complicated. Silly or serious. Choose any medium—painting, fabric, canvas, collage, sculpture—because anything that inspires you will help our kids. Just be sure to put your bluebird art on a stick.

EXHIBITION AT THE HAVEN IN MAY
The Bluebird-Art-On-Sticks collection will be displayed at The Haven in early May, which is National Foster Care Month.

PARADE ON MAY 5
On May 5, during the lively First Friday ArtWalk, the flock will be carried by volunteers to soar up and down the pedestrian mall, finally returning to their exhibition at The Haven.

AUCTION ON MAY 5
After the bluebird parade, up to 50 bluebird artworks will be sold in a silent auctionAny funds raised will go toward helping children in foster care by training and supporting foster care families, and by giving foster children a voice in court through the advocacy work of Piedmont CASA Volunteers.

ON THE WEB
The Bluebird-Art-On-Sticks collection will also be displayed on a website.
