Choice of Business Entity Spring 2020 

Choice of Business Entity.  There are four main business entity choices: sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability company (LLC) and corporation (C or S). This workshop will discuss the advantages and disadvantages to each for entrepreneurs, addressing such topics as simplicity, cost, liability protection and tax advantages.  Bring your lunch and your questions.

Greg Helfer, CPA. is North Carolina born and bred and has spent 26 years in accounting. After growing up in Salisbury, NC where he was an Eagle Scout, on the swim team, played basketball and soccer, Greg moved to the mountains to study accounting at Appalachian State University. He enjoys sports, is a member of Kiwanis, and likes to kayak, shoot pool and play volleyball. Greg comes by his love of solving puzzles naturally; his grandfather was a CPA and his father a field tax auditor.
