Go Green. Make Green.

Thursday, May 19, 7:30AM-12:00PM. Downtown Chicago

With energy costs rising, commercial real estate property managers, brokers, owners, and developers need to understand green building economics.

In this half-day interactive course, real estate professionals will learn the fundamentals of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability-- and how to identify and value opportunities that increase net operating income and return on assets. Participation in this session will leave you with a better understanding of:

  • What are the key drivers of energy & sustainability?
  • What do the numbers look like--how does "green" pencil out?
  • What is the real estate professional's role?

Course highlights include:

  • Quantitative analysis for solar & energy efficiency projects
  • LEED and Energy Star certification
  • Project financing options
  • Government and utility incentives
  • Industry trends & best practices
  • Action steps for launching a sustainability services practice

This program is a collaborative effort by: Illinois CCIM, IREM Chicago, AIRE, Chicago Clean Energy Trust, John Marshall School of Law, and Roosevelt University. All members of the Chicago real estate community are welcome and encouraged to attend.
