In the summer of 2011 Ryder was diagnosed with Leukemia and suddenly everything
changed.  On June 14th, the first Monday after school let out, Ryder woke up with severe pain in his  ankle. His mom brought him to the emergency room where they eventually did a blood  test at her request. An hour after they returned home they got a call from the hospital
with the shocking and terrifying results: His condition was so fragile that the doctors
asked that his family get him back to the emergency room without bumping him–at all. On  the way to the hospital seeing the distress in her eyes, Ryder, being the pillar of strength
that he is, looked at his mom and said “Mommy, I got this”.

On Saturday, November 3rd join the Fairfax Community as we come together for Ryder Morford, an exceptional 13 years old who, was diagnosed with A.L.L. and M.L.L., on June 14th 2011.  Join us at The Pavilion for a day filled with family games, live music, food, jumpy house, raffles and lots of fun!

Please help us "Raise the Roof" for Ryder and his family. Ryder is still under going treatment.  Before this life changing experience, he lived a very active life in his native Fairfax and the Marin Coast.  Ryder loves to surf, skateboard, play baseball and hang out with his friends.  His battle has been tough and he is unable to go back to school. 

This is just the beginning of a long battle but Ryder is the strongest kid any of us have ever met and with the support of the community we anticipate Ryder's treatment and recovery to be a successful one.  Learn More About Ryder's Story>
