In this workshop, along with the seven steps in the exit planning process, the following topics will be discussed:

  • Liquidation and Liquidation over time
  • Keeping your business in the family
  • Selling your business to managers and/or employees
  • Selling the business on the open market
  • Selling to another business
  • The IPO (Initial Public Offering)

Presenter Ian Kansky helps entrepreneurs and small business owners plan for the most important day of their business: the day that they exit.  Working with business owners, he helps them develop strategies to exit their business when they want, sell to whom they want, for the most money, and pay the least taxes.  Mr. Kansky is a Certified Exit Planner (CExP™) who began his career on Wall Street, became a business owner entrepreneur, and is now using his experiences to educate clients in making smart financial decisions.
