Bald Eagle Hike @ Millerton

Bald Eagle at River Center

Join us to celebrate the return of the migratory Bald Eagles! Each winter, eagles overwinter along the shores of Millerton Reservoir.  This is a free, easy 2-to-3 mile hike to view these magnificent birds. Guides Judy J and Bruce W are avid birders who loves to share their passion and knowledge with the public.  PLEASE NOTE: While bald eagle sightings are highly likely, they are not guaranteed.

We will be meeting at the River Center (11605 Old Friant Rd, Fresno, CA) at 8:30 am, and will carpool to Millerton from there.  Please dress appropriately for a day outdoors (long pants, closed toed shoes, etc.) and bring sunscreen, binoculars, and water.  Leader(s) will have some loaner binoculars available. This is a rain or shine event.  Children 12+ welcome, no dogs please.
