The conference hotel is now officially sold out. However, we have made arrangements at the SpringHills Suites Marriott at 1550 McConnor Parkway, Schaumburg, IL 60173, which is located very near the Schaumburg Convention Center. The nightly rate is $125, includes breakfast. Click here and make your room reservation or call 847-995-1500. Tell them you are with the Catholic Marketing Network Room Block.
One more thing to note: people do often cancel their room reservations in the days immediately proceeding an event. We suggest that even if you book at the overflow hotel, if you want to get into the convention hotel, call them right before you go to see if there are cancellations. CMN assures us this happens with their room block every year. The Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center and Hotel's number is (847) 303-4100. Tell them you are with the Catholic Marketin Network. Rooms in that room block (if you get an opening) are $143 a night plus tax and fees.
Catholic Writers Conference LIVE
Online Registration is currently closed as we prepare for our conference. If you wish to still register, we have plenty of room and you are welcome! The Catholic Writers Conference will be July 26-July29, 2016 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center and Hotel, in conjunction with the Catholic Marketing Network Trade Show.
This year's conference them is "Openness to God's Will." How can we know what God wants us to do with our career, how can we follow him best with our talents? Our conference allows you to connect personally with Catholic publishers and retailers, to learn more about the art, show your work, learn the craft and network.
This year we are hosting:
•workshops on marketing and writing
•presentations on marketing and selling your work
•in-person pitch sessions
•group critique sessions
•national CWG Members meeting (guests welcome, of course)

We hold our conference in cooperation with the Catholic Marketing Network. This year, they are offering three special events. These special events are open to CWCL attendees, but cost extra. See the schedule and registration page for more details.
Tuesday, July 26, noon: CMN hosts a lunch with retailers and this year it is being sponsored by Ave Maria Press and will feature Kelly Wahlquist a dynamic speaker, author, and founder of WINE (Women in the New Evangelization).
