Facilitated by Sally Daniel and Karen Travis, with more than 55 years of consulting experience, this workshop will help internal and external consultants become more effective, allowing you to enjoy your work more, and stress less!  Focus groups will include: new consultants, those considering a consulting career, and seasoned consultants who want to take their experience to the next level.  As we get closer to the date, we’ll survey those enrolled for additional input to make the most of our time together. 

 Workshop Objectives:

• Understand your personal style and leverage your type to build stronger client relationships
• Review and Consider Various Consulting Models to Solve Problems and Maximize Opportunities
• Identify Tips & Techniques to Avoid Common Consulting Traps and Administrative Headaches
• Classify appropriate roles and expectations for the consultant and the client
• Learn appropriate techniques for handling difficult client conversations

Workshop Details:

Your workshop fee includes three self-assessments and two books: The Trusted Advisor by David Maister and 8 Dimensions of Leadership, DiSC Strategies for Becoming a Better Leader, as well as additional reading and cases studies.  Lunch is provided on Wednesday and Thursday, as well as refreshment breaks each day and a  networking reception Wednesday evening and some surprises along the way!  You are responsible for your travel, lodging, and meals other than those specifically listed above. 

 Prerequisites:  Each participant will complete approximately one hour of pre-work.

Lodging:  Our host hotel is is The Bohemian in Celebration, Florida.  You can find them on www.marriott.com or, of course, you can stay with Aunt Betty if you prefer!
