Susan was born in Calgary and was a recording artist and sang professionally for 19 years. After her ten-year marriage ended in divorce and with two toddlers, Susan was proud to be chosen an Ambassador for the City of Edmonton as the first local "Klondike Kate" performing on stage, radio and television throughout Canada and the USA. In 1988 she married Dr. Henry Janzen and her now blended family grew to five children. She graduated in 1996 with her Bachelor of Education Degree specializing in Special Education and taught for six years. In 2003 her career took a shift back to being an entrepreneur and she obtained her Real Estate license and has been a full time, full service REALTORｮ ever since. Susan is an avid volunteer in the community. She specializes in Accessible and Barrier Free homes and puts the needs of her clients first and foremost.
