Strathmore events are always held on the Third Thursday of each month.
WOMEN TALK is an evening gathering where women present and share their inspiring stories, thoughts, ideas and experiences. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn and you’ll be entertained by Amazing WOMEN TALKers!
Our Monthly Events consist of:
- 2 Guest TALKers; each sharing a 15-20 minute TALK.
- Talk of the Month, from our Founder
- A little Motivation from a Director
- A little “girl time”
- Food and Drinks can be purchased from our Host's menu
- Your evening is always woven together with a splash of humour thanks to our MC Darlis-Keily Ireland.

Laura Smilski
~ Inner Healing for Deeper Connections
Laura Smilski is passionate about helping others gain a greater sense of self by developing deeper connections, improved health and more fulfilling relationships. Laura became a Holistic Love & Relationship Coach after realizing that she needed to turn her own life around and heal her heart and soul from the inside out, after experiencing major depressions, severe anxiety disorders and losing her father to suicide when she was just 3 years old.
Laura works with her clients to create a feeling of true satisfaction and fulfillment in relationship with themselves, helping them to feel confident and in control of their love life. Healing past limiting beliefs that keep them from meeting their Soulmate, by helping to Increase confidence, faith, trust and sense of power for when that perfect partner walks into their life.
Francis has been in the education field for many years. From kindergarten teacher to college instructor, librarian, sports team coach and a vice principal. Through all of her experiences the thing that she enjoyed the most was the opportunity to build relationships with people, It was these relationships that lead her to coaching. She realized her passion in connecting and helping people become better leaders, find life balance, and navigate challenges. She is also a motivational talker on such topics as The Happiness Advantage, Resiliency, and The Zen of Listening. Married, mother of boys, lover of dogs and happy globetrotter, life for Francis is rarely dull!
