2012 BREAKAWAY

CYCLE Kids Charity Bike Ride | Sunday, May 20th

Choose from a metric century with over 3,500 feet of climbing,
a 36 mile ride, or a 5 mile fun ride with your child.

In celebration of National Bike Month, CYCLE Kids is hosting our second annual Breakaway Bike Ride and Luncheon to raise money to get kids on bikes and on their way to living healthy, active lives!

The first 250 participants will receive a limited edition Breakaway bike jersey.  All will enjoy a post ride celebration on the beautiful grounds of the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum.  Wind down after your ride with an ice cold beer or a glass of wine, a freshly grilled lunch prepared by Best of Boston chef and restaurateur Paul O'Connell of Chez Henri, and fresh grilled salmon by Chef Danny of the Atlantic Fish Company, all while enjoying the bluegrass tunes of the Pine Hill Ramblers!

About the Ride
With the help of the Charles River Wheelmen, CYCLE Kids has put together two beautiful rides for you to enjoy on a New England spring morning. All rides leave from the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in the historic town of Lincoln, a rural community only 20 miles from downtown Boston. The shorter ride winds through pastoral Lincoln, Concord, and Sudbury. The metric century will take you past beautiful vistas by the Fruitlands Museum in Harvard, and challenge you with more than 3,500 feet of climbing among the hills of Harvard.

Ride hard | Feel good  | Help start a child down the right path
