Please join the Middlesex 3 Coalition for our Business Leadership Series to discuss Climate Resilience in Middlesex 3: From Planning to Implementation. Climate change is already having a measurable effect on infrastructural, societal, and environmental systems in Massachusetts. The effects of increased average temperature, total annual precipitation, and storm intensity exacerbates the risk associated with weather related hazards such as inland flooding, snow and ice events, and drought. These conditions are changing how state, local, and institutional entities consider the distribution of risk and how to appropriately manage resources in response to these changes. This panel discussion will focus on available tools (e.g. data) resources (e.g. financial), and collaborative governance mechanisms (e.g. partnerships) that can facilitate a shift from climate resilience planning to implementation.
