EPF Institute Spring Cohort 5 Wednesdays from 10:30-2:30

Attend the official training for the new Economics and Personal Finance (EPF) course!

Join us for our Cohort 5 EPF Spring Institute!  This virtual, 40-hour institute will equip educators with the tools, skills and knowledge they need to be prepared to teach the new Economics and Personal Finance course. To attend, you will need access to a computer with a working camera and microphone that has access to Zoom and Google Drive (this can be a personal device). There will be interactive components and required deliverables each session. This training is for teachers who teach in North Carolina and are teaching or slated to teach the EPF course. 

Training will include these items and more!

  • Presentations from NCCEE covering a variety of personal finance and economics resources
  • Lesson plans that correlate to standards using simulations, projects, in-class activites, online assignments and games
  • Presentations from industry experts and NCCEE partner organizations
  • Opportunity to apply to EPF Master Teacher program from NCCEE
  • Opportunity for a no-cost session with a financial advisor (this is optional and is simply a thank you for the work that you do every day)

Our meetings will take place on Wednesdays from 10:30am-2:30pm on the following dates**:

  • March 24
  • **2 week break to observe Spring Breaks** 
  • April 14
  • April 21
  • April 28
