EPF Institute Spring Cohort 6 will meet on Fridays 8:00-12:00

Attend the official training for the new Economics and Personal Finance (EPF) course!

Join us for our EPF Spring Institute!  This virtual, 40-hour institute will equip educators with the tools, skills and knowledge they need to be prepared to teach the new Economics and Personal Finance course. To attend, you will need access to a computer with a working camera and microphone that has access to Zoom and Google Drive (this can be a personal device). There will be interactive components and required deliverables each session. This training is for teachers who teach in North Carolina and are teaching or slated to teach the EPF course. 

Training will include these items and more!

  • Presentations from NCCEE covering a variety of personal finance and economics resources
  • Lesson plans that correlate to standards using simulations, projects, in-class activites, online assignments and games!
  • Presentations from industry experts and NCCEE's partners
  • Opportunity to apply to EPF Master Teacher program from NCCEE
  • Opportunity for a pro-bono session with a financial advisor

Our meetings will take place on Fridays from 8am-12pm on the following dates**:
