              Econ and Personal Finance Camp for Teachers!

Attend the official training for the new Economics and Personal Finance (EPF) course.

Join us for our EPF Institute! This week-long, 40-hour institute will equip educators with the tools, skills and knowledge they need to effectively teach the new Economics and Personal Finance course. This professional development is facilitated by NCCEE. 

**This training is ONLY for North Carolina teachers who are teaching or slated to teach the required social studies Economics and Personal Finance course. If you are NOT slated to teach the social studies EPF course, please visit our website for other training options.**

**If you have previously attended a 40 hour institute, you may NOT register for this session. Please email Stephanie Cales at stephanie.cales@nccee.org for more information.**

Training will include the following items:

  • Lesson plans that correlate to standards using simulations, projects, in-class activities, online assignments and games

  • Lodging for the week for those whose travel time is more than 1 hour each way, provided there are no sessions being offered closer to them 

  • Parking costs will be reimbursed if applicable

  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided

  • Access to fitness facilities in some locations

  • Industry expert lunch panels

  • Opportunity to apply to NCCEE's EPF Master Teacher program

  • W!SE Financial Literacy Certification

  • $500.00 stipend upon successful completion

This institute is presented as a public private partnership between the state of North Carolina, NCCEE, NCDPI, Wells Fargo, Ally, State Farm, and Live Oak Bank.
