FSSA Self Storage Owners', Operators', and
Investors' Summit

A prime benefit of this event is the opportunity for owners, operators, and investors to spend time sharing ideas, to help each other find solutions to business problems, and to build business relationships. Start your day with our Networking Registration, continue your conversations at our Networking Lunch, discuss the day's nuggets of knowledge at the Networking Reception and then head off for dinner and drinks to the Epcot Food & Wine Festival (optional, $49 passes available). Mix in educational presentations that address the issues that are your top concerns by the people who are experts in their fields, and you now have a day that is all about you and your business. 

Surrounding all of the day's activities will be the Kure It silent auction. (Kure It is FSSA's charity.) Bid on items throughout the day and walk away, we hope, a winner. Bidding begins at 10:00 a.m. and closes at 4:00 p.m. Prizes awarded before the reception begins.

                   Retaining the Best with Cheryl L. Wilke, Hinshaw and
                   Culbertson LLP           
                   - What you need to know so you don't end up in a wrongful
                     termination law suit. The session provides employers with keys
                     to managing the risk of hiring and firing employees. Objective
                     advice and real world examples will be presented to insure
                     that expensive and time consuming litigation can be
                     eliminated. Additionally, keys for providing a "career"
                     versus a "job" based environment will be offered allowing you
                     to distinguish our position from those of competing
                     employers.   

4:30 p.m.     Networking Reception - On the Yacht Club boat dock for
                   cocktails and appetizers. Wind down with your professional friends
                   and make plans for dinner on your own. If you purchased
                   Food & Wine passes, pass pick up starts at 5:30 p.m.

6:00 p.m.     Epcot's Food & Wine Festival - Join with others from the
                   Summit for a walk or boat ride to Epcot for dinner (not
                   included in your Summit registration).

• After October 1 - FSSA members: $250; Nonmembers: $375.
  

Cancellation policy: Refunds will be issued for full amount minus a $75 administration fee if received in writing by October 1, 2014. Refunds cannot be issued after October 1, 2014.
