Disaster Preparedness & Recovery Panel

As the saying goes, you can never be too prepared.

Every day we run the risk of encountering the unexpected, whether it's a natural disaster or a man-made mishap. The sad fact of the matter is that some sort of disaster is going to effect each and every one of us one day. The only thing you can do is be prepared. So the question is, are you?

Join us April 21st at the Publick House Historic Inn for a panel on disaster preparedness and recovery moderated by Steve Tranni of Stor-U-Self. Our expert panelists include those with years of experience in self storage management and building systems, a senior risk management consultant, and a panelist who was active in the recovery efforts after Hurricane Sandy hit the Northeast. Topics to be covered include:

  • Fire and smoke damage
  • Water damage (from leaks to floods)
  • Robberies and break-ins
  • Suspicious persons
  • Natural disasters (hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, tornadoes)
  • Inclement weather (snow, lightning, hail)
  • Acts of terrorism
  • Compromised building structures
  • Q&A
