Enhancing Resiliency Seminar 

Pender Island Child Care Society invites teachers, caregivers, parents and other professionals to the Enhancing Resiliency Seminar. Dr. Vanessa Lapointe is an author, parenting educator, and registered psychologist who believes that by walking alongside children's "big people" we are better positioned to see the world through the child's eyes. She feels that if we are able to do this, we can grow up our children in the best possible way. Dr. Vanessa Lapointe is the author of Discipline without Damage: How to get your kids to behave without messing them up. A very big thank you for the generous support of Children's Health Foundation of Vancouver Island and Poets Cove Resort. The cost of this all day workshop is $50.00. Please let us know if this presents a financial hardship.
