Beyond Basic Searching: Techniques to Find What You Want and to Know What You Have Found

Effectively finding high quality information on the Internet involves much more than simply typing a few words into your favorite search engine, selecting one of the results found and then accepting the information provided there. Unfortunately this is the standard operating procedure of many, if not most, of your library patrons, both adults and students. The purposes of this session is to Rev Up your personal ability as a highly effective web searcher and help you impart this information to your students and/or staff. Workshop fee: $125.00
