College & Career Connections is a collaborative effort led by the Escondido Chamber of Commerce, bringing Escondido’s education and workforce development partners together for a series of events in October.

Mr. Cunningham is a former chief economist and research director for the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, with an established a reputation and expertise for understanding San Diego’s regional economy. His current affiliation is with the National University System Institute for Policy Research, a think-tank that promotes ground-breaking high quality economic, policy, and public-opinion research to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of local governments in the San Diego area.

As a senior fellow on the institute’s highly qualified leadership team, Mr. Cunningham conducts research and publishes articles, policy briefs, and other materials about regional issues.
