The SEI Illinois Chapter is hosting NHI’s Bridge Inspection Refresher Training course in downtown Chicago. Registration is open to everyone but will be limited to a maximum of 17 registrants.
The major goals of this course are to refresh the skills of practicing bridge inspectors in fundamental visual inspection techniques; review the background knowledge necessary to understand how bridges function; communicate issues of national significance relative to the nations' bridge infrastructures; re-establish proper condition and appraisal rating practices; and review the professional obligations of bridge inspectors.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
The course is built to accommodate those that have completed comprehensive bridge inspection training (130055 or similar) or met the criteria for a bridge inspector under the State's procedures or requirements.

$1100 – includes course registration, course materials, breakfast and lunch. Make checks payable to ASCE Structural Group.
CEU:
1.8 CEUs (18 PDHs) will be awarded through NHI continuing education. Steps to follow will be provided at the completion of the course.
