Chicago Transit Authority Lawrence-Bryn Mawr Modernization

Register for an exciting summer site visit to the Chicago Transit Authority’s (CTA) Red-Purple Modernization (RPM) Program. The tour, led by the Walsh-Fluor Design-Build Team and arranged by Stantec, will focus on station and track improvements at the Lawrence-Bryn Mawr Modernization (LBMM) portion of the RPM. It is expected that the gantry erection of the post-tensioned box girders will be taking place on site the day of the tour. The tour will take place in the adjacent alley.

An informal happy hour nearby is to follow.

Meeting:

The tour will begin near the closed Berwyn stop. Participants can meet for a 1pm start time at the northwest corner of the Jewel-Osco parking lot at 5343 N Broadway.

The closest Red Line stops are Bryn Mawr and Argyle (~10-minute walk). Many bus lines service the area and paid street parking is also available along Broadway.

PPE:

Participants required to wear: Work boots, hard hat, safety glasses, high visibility safety vests and long pants.

Waver:

A signed ASCE waiver form will be required to enter any construction zones and will be provided on site.
