Patient Centered Care in Action

Learning and Action Networks Event

When it comes to communication between healthcare providers and patients, so much is lost in translation. You are invited to attend a conference held by HealthInsight on Thursday, March 7, 2013 to learn new strategies to help you take a more active role in your health care. Come and learn about “Teach-back” and “Ask Me 3” – tools to help you communicate better with your doctor and care team.

“Studies show that people who understand health instructions make fewer mistakes when they take their medicine or prepare for a medical procedure. They may also get well sooner or be able to better manage a chronic health condition.” (National Patient Safety Foundation)
