Cascade to Coast Subsection Pint Night
If you appreciate clean drinking water, you may value those serving in the water industry! The American Water Works Association (AWWA) aims to protect and improve water supply, water quality, management and the interests of the public and the environment. To achieve this goal, AWWA depends on local subsections such as the Cascade to Coast (C2C) subsection to promote educational opportunities and to provide funding for career opportunities within the water industry.
If you are interested in supporting individuals looking to start a career in the water industry or interested in learning more about a career in the water industry, be sure to attend our first funding and networking event of the year! On March 28th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, we will be at Falling Sky Pour-House and Delicatessen, 790 Blair Blvd, Eugene, OR. Come and join us for networking, raffle prizes and trivia!
If you can’t come to the evening event, Falling sky is generously contributing $1.00 from the sale of every pint of beer, wine, cider, or to-go beer from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm on March 28! Those funds will go directly to the Cascade to Coast Scholarship Fund to help educate the next generation of water professionals. Also, the C2C subsection will accept direct donations to the scholarship fund but don’t forget, no water - no beer.
