                                      2014 ANNUAL CONFERENCE

You are cordially invited to attend our 2014 Annual Conference at the Rosen Shingle Creek resort in Orlando. This is the premier educational and networking event annually for Florida's free and charitable clinics and networks, and organizations that support and partner with them.

We believe all people should have coverage and care. We would prefer to see a bipartisan solution that a strong majority could get behind to make that happen.  Until that day comes, community-supported, volunteer-driven free and charitable clinics and networks will continue to play a crucial role in providing quality, transformational care to Floridians who cannot get coverage or obtain care elsewhere. "Here to Stay, Transforming Lives" will be a recurring theme throughout the conference.

Keynote addresses will be given by Dr. John Armstrong, Florida State Surgeon General and Secretary of Health for the State of Florida, and Dr. Pedro "Joe" Greer, pioneering physician, advocate for the underserved, and Presidential Medal of Freedom honoree.

The conference will include also feature breakout sessions on a variety of topics. Examples of these include:

  • How Trained Encouragers Have Blessed Patients (and Staff too!)
  • Q&A with Florida Volunteer Health Care Provider Program
  • Prescription for Life: How to Live a Balanced Life in a Toxic World
  • Lessons Learned and What Lies Ahead for ACA Outreach/Enrollment
  • Best Practices in Diabetic Care
  • Specialty Care Networks - Keys to Success
  • Community Smiles: The Premier Charitable Dental Clinic in Florida
  • Diversifying Revenue through Earned Income
  • Buena Salud - Si Se Puede (Good Health - Yes We Can!)
  • Green Family Foundation NeighborhoodHELP™: A Mobile Health Care Model That Works
  • Effective Legislative Advocacy and FAFCC's 2015 Policy Agenda
