Presenter

Cesar A. Costa is the HouseMaster Home Inspections franchise owner in Broward. Cesar has over 25 years of professional experience, including Marketing and Sales, new business structuring, product launch and market development. He has worked for large multinational such as Laureate Universities, Intel Semiconductors, Global Crossing, Yahoo Brasil and Lucent Technologies. Additionally, has started up several smaller organizations (green field) developing and implementing market entry strategies in Brazil and Latin America, including companies such as ITXC, Go2Call, Epay and Vanguarda Telecom. With background in both Business Administration (MBA from University of Michigan) and Engineering, he has been teaching at Business School SP (BSP) for over 18 years. At BSP he has developed several MBA courses and acted as Program Director for the Master in Sales program.

Starting a business in US as a Foreigner could be overwhelming. This workshop will provide valuable tips on the whole process, from visas consideration, finding the proper structure for business, finding the best industry and the business that matches your strengths, deciding on green field start or acquiring a franchise. In addition, it will be presented the challenges that the owner could face to expand and grow the business. The seminar is based on personal experience sharing that could be valuable for many foreign investors.
