8th Annual Sporting Clay Shoot for Scouting 

Join us for the Annual Sporting Clay Shoot for Scouting, a 100 round fun shoot that includes prizes, auctions, games and refreshments.

Proceeds from the Clay Shoot help deliver quality Scouting programs to more than 1,000 youth and adults in the Housatonic Council and beyond.

All participants receive breakfast, lunch and shooting.  We will be conducting a 100 rounds fun shoot.  All shooters will need to bring your own Shotgun and ammo.

IF YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR THE SCOUT MENTOR PROGRAM (14 YEARS OLD AND UP) OR A FIRST TIME SHOOTER, BE PREPARED TO CHECK-IN BY 8:30 AM ON DAY OF EVENT.  PLEASE REGISTER BY MAY 1.

Course of Events

7:30 AM - 9:00 AM - Registration and Breakfast

9:30 AM - Shooting Begins 100 Rounds - All shooters will need to bring your own Shotgun and ammo.

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Luncheon, Recognition, and Raffle begins

3:30 PM Event ends

Ammunition will be restricted to 12, 16, 20, 28 gauge or 410 caliber shot shells with a maximum load of one and one-eighth (1 1/8) ounce of shot, and a maximum shot size of seven and one-half (7 1/2) and a maximum of 3 drams of powder.  Please contact us about any ammo concerns for the shoot.

EYE AND EAR PROTECTION IS MANDATORY.
