Attend this informative, hands-on workshop conducted by Massachusetts Interfaith Power & Light to gain the tools and knowledge to evaluate essential areas of the energy use and save money on the energy costs in your House Of Worship.
This workshop will cover:
Not only are high energy bills a waste of members' pledges to the congregations, but the pollution caused by energy harms God's creation, causes a range of health problems, and contributes to climate change that future generations will have to deal with. You will learn how to create a comprehensive plan to reduce your congregations' contribution to these problems.
Members of congregations' environmental stewardship or green teams, property committee, or finance committee will learn practical actions they can take to save money and care for God's creation.
