Everything You Need to Know About Non-Profits 

Are you confused about the sea of regulations surrounding non-profits?  Whether you want to start a non-profit or are frustrated with the management of a non-profit, this workshop will give you the tools you need to understand how and why a non-profit is different from a for-profit corporation and importantly how they are very similar.  You will leave with a clear understanding of the different types of non-profits and the regulatory hurdles required to get or keep your non-profit designation.

Penny Pompei is an experienced non-profit executive having served as CEO in a dozen different organizations, including the National Women’s Business Center in Washington, DC.   She is also a serial entrepreneur and has founded several non-profit organizations as subsidiaries of her for-profit organizations.  Penny is a SCORE certified mentor and is CEO of Pompei International, Inc., a small business consultancy.
