The Presenter:
Dr. Deborah Hill
Dr Deborah Hill has over 25 years of experience primarily in the manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries. Her aras of focus were in finance and accounting and she held various management positions. She is currently the business programm director at Keiser University in West Plam Beach; and also teaches marketing & management at the university.
Dr. Hill received her Ph.D. from Capella University in Organization and Management. She also holds an MBA in Marketing from Amberton University.
Creating customer value and engagement is critical to the success of small business owners. This workshop will give an overview of marketing and show how important knowing your customers is. You will also learn how to evaluate and select your market segment.
We will be discussing the basics of marketing, including consumer behaviour, differentiation and positioning, building a brand and brand awareness, the global market place and sustainable marketing. Additional discussion will focus on how to analyze the marketing environment and determine growth strategies.
