About this Event:
Much of our career trajectory depends on our ability to present effectively. Yet we're not always given the training and coaching to craft compelling messages, make effective use of visuals, or persuade a room. While these challenges are true for both men and women, there are some traits that tend to fall along gender lines. How can women make the most of areas where we excel and how can we develop an awareness of - and plan of action - for those behaviors that distract or otherwise sabotage our communication? From interacting with slides to dealing with interruptions and deciding what to wear, learn how to make the most of your next big meeting or presentation.
Come prepared to discuss your presentation or public speaking challenges and plan to come away with insight, tools and techniques to improve your professional (and personal) communication. This session will be introduced by Silvia Dumitrescu, WLF Chair & WNG Board member.
