To explore ways to fight the false and find the true, the Deadline Club has assembled an A-list panel of top media and law experts. Speakers include: Bill Adair, creator of Politifact, Knight Professor of the Practice of Journalism and Public Policy and director of Duke University’s DeWitt Wallace Center for Media & Democracy; Kyle Pope, editor-in-chief and publisher of the Columbia Journalism Review; Mandy Jenkins, head of news at Storyful; and Lynn Oberlander, general counsel of media operations at First Look Media and board director for the Media Law Resource Center. The moderator is Sheryl Huggins Salomon, senior editor-at-large and former managing editor of TheRoot.com.
