Whether you are a code-savvy developer, or a junior analyst interested in AI, this Data Science session is geared to teach you everything you need to know to begin adopting AI into your workflow. By the end of the session, attendees will have a comprehensive understanding of the statistical reasoning necessary in conducting machine learning applications within a business environment. The session will begin with an introduction into the current state of AI in 2020 followed by a run-down of the basic principles & best practices for machine learning, and ending with a hands-on exercise on model development, training & validation

Prerequisites: None – this session is geared towards stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds. Beginners welcome. 

What tools do I need? A computer with minimum 2-cores and 4GB RAM running Windows 7 or later with R & Rstudio installed.
