The Association of Iowa Workforce Partners (AIWP) Annual Conference, now in its 16^th year, is the primary professional development opportunity for workforce professionals, WIOA core partners, and state and regional workforce development board members in Iowa.

KEYNOTE

Dr. Richard Deming, Mercy Medical Center and Above + Beyond Cancer

As medical director of Mercy Cancer Center in Des Moines, Iowa, Dr. Deming is known in the community for the compassionate care he provides cancer patients and their families. Dr. Deming is also the founder of Above + Beyond Cancer, a non-profit organization dedicated to elevating the lives of those touched by cancer.  Dr. Deming has led cancer survivors on inspirational mind-body-spirit pilgrimages to Mount Everest, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Machu Picchu.  He is inspired by the courage and compassion of his patients and their families. His greatest ambition is to encourage others to pursue lives of meaning, purpose, passion, and compassion.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations and refunds for conference registration will be made only if requested in writing to kkrehbiel@sppg.com. No refunds will be made after April 11, 2018. A $25 administrative fee will be retained for cancellations.
