2017 NMCEH Sixth Annual Conference, Housing for All 

October 26, 2017


Please join NMCEH for our October 26, 2017 Conference at the Hotel MCM Eleganté in Albuquerque.

6The Housing for All Conference will feature Jennifer Jaeger, Community Services Director for the City of Rockford, IL, as our plenary speaker. Rev. Alvin Herring, Director of Racial Equity, W.K. Kellogg Foundation will be our keynote speaker. The Housing for All Conference will also feature national and local experts, educational workshops, and opportunities to exchange ideas with people from all over New Mexico who work on ending homelessness. This year, we have included three round-table workshops to maximize networking opportunities.

This year 's workshops are:
 
Track 1: Direct services A:
-          Integrating the NM Crisis & Access Line  
-          Social Security Back to Work Program
-          Round Table Discussion: How can emergency shelters use diversion and engage rest of the                     system more effectively?
 
Track 2: Direct services B:
-          Human Trafficking
-          Assisting Brain Trauma Clients
-          Round Table Discussion: Engaging Hard to Serve Clients
 
Track 3: Administration:
-          Creating a Fundraising Culture
-          Social Enterprise
-  
Track 4: System Changes:
-          Racial Equity
-          Ending Chronic Homelessness
-          Round Table Discussion:  Engaging Staff and Community in Obtaining Changes.

 

 We will also be offering workshops about direct services, administration, fundraising and advocacy. A list of the workshops will be announced in August.  6 Social Work CEUs will be offered! 

For check payments, please register on this website and then, mail your check to NMCEH (P.O. Box 865, Santa Fe, NM 87504) so we can confirm your participation in the conference. 

Please register now, registration fees will go up $10 after October 19th!

Scholarship options are available.
 
Breakfast and Lunch at the Hotel MCM Eleganté are included in the registration fee!

Directions for hotel accommodations: We have negotiated a $79.00 plus tax per night rate (single/double occupancy) at the MCM Eleganté. If you wish to make a reservation for the night of Tuesday, October 25, 2017 please contact the hotel by calling 505-884-2511 and asking to be connected to reservations. Please specify you want the "New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessness" rate. Make sure to reserve early so you can take advantage of this rate before the hotel runs out of rooms!
