OSHA ComplianceTraining
by Ms. Jill Yeager

Ensure your office is up-to-date with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) requirements as required by law. This online course is an introductory program that guides staff through OSHA regulations and steps for compliance.  This course helps meet your annual training requirements for all staff needing Bloodborne Pathogen training.  It covers the Bloodborne Pathogens Standard which includes exposure, control plan, personal protective equipment, HBV, HIV, post-exposure evaluation and follow up as well as the Hazard Communication Standard, which includes Safety Data Sheets and hazardous chemicals.  New requirements for practicing during the COVID-19 pandemic will be covered. Information for the dentist or compliance manager including study materials, checklists and a quiz will be provided.

Learning Objectives:

  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance guidelines
  • Knowledge of Center for Disease Control's (CDC) infection control standards for dentistry
  • Knowledge of Hazard Communication procedures
  • Knowledge of new requirements for practicing during the COVID-19 pandemic

Ms. Jill Yeager has been working in dentistry since 1981. She has presented programs for the Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society and UTHSC Dental Branch Houston and works with offices on compliance issues (OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control). She understands the realities of compliance because she faces those challenges on a daily basis.

This course is for all dentists and staff.
