UK Education Tour
's mission is to introduce highly qualified, internationally-focussed students to British universities, colleges and quality language schools. Our events are 100% UK focussed, and promote the UK through Studybritish.com, social and traditional media to reach the target segment for UK education.

In the past 3 years UK Education Tour has established itself as THE event for UK education in the region. We will be returning to Sulaymaniyah, a vibrant commercial city in the east of the region, and home to the University of Sulaymaniyah. We will then head to Erbil, capital of Iraqi Kurdistan and one of the oldest continually-inhabited cities in the world. As well as the University of Salahaddin, there are several public and private universities in Erbil and surrounding cities. 

The Human Capacity Development Program in Higher Education (HCDP) is an ambitious program that aims to develop human capacities in Kurdistan Region in the field of higher education. An annual KRG budget of one hundred and twenty billion dinars (GBP62 million) is allocated to the scheme. It provides an opportunity for thousands of distinguished young men and women to continue their education in internationally renowned universities. Upto 2000 students will be sponsored to study abroad in 2014. The Iraq Education Initiative scholarship programme, run by the Iraqi government in Baghdad, aims to send 10,000 PG students abroad every year until 2015. This event will once again target students from the Kurdish Region and all over Iraq.

Morning: Reception and networking event, with local officials and VIP's.
Afternoon: UK Universities Exhibiton
Evening: UKET Dinner

We only invite UK universities and schools, and we provide a platform that highlights UK education as a high value, high quality option. We will be promoting the event throughout Iraq, to increase the attendance and enquiries from both the Kurdish Region and the rest of Iraq. We are driven by the needs and feedback of our clients - UK universities and schools - and of the aims of the governments of Kurdistan / Iraq.
