About the USA Swimming Foundation

The USA Swimming Foundation raises funds to support programs that save lives and build champions-in the pool and in life. As the philanthropic arm of USA Swimming, the USA Swimming Foundation works to strengthen the sport of swimming from grass roots to gold medals. Whether we're equipping our children with learn-to-swim skills through our Make a Splash initiative, or providing financial support to our heroes on the U.S. National Team, the USA Swimming Foundation aims to provide the wonderful experience of swimming to kids at all levels across the country.

Rowdy's gentle nature, likeability, distinctive voice and enthusiastic swimming commentary have made him one of the most beloved and recognizable Olympians of all time. Rowdy will captivate you as he shares his personal Olympic story and the critically important message and mission of the USA Swimming Foundation.


Jason Lezak is a 4-time Olympic Gold Medalist who is perhaps best known for giving the sport of swimming a moment it will never forget - the final leg of the 2008 Beijing 400 men's free relay. Touted as one of the top three moments in swimming history, Lezak along with his teammates Michael Phelps, Cullen Jones and Garrett Weber-Gale stunned the world by out-touching the French and winning GOLD in the Men's 4x100 relay. As an Ambassador to the USA Swimming Foundation, Jason will share his personal account of this historic swim and the steps he took along the way to become an Olympic champion.

One of the world's most dominant swimmers over the last decade, Olympic Gold Medalist Jessica Hardy continues to compete and train in preparation for the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Swimming and ultimately, the Rio Summer Games. Jessica not only possess great passion for the sport of swimming, but has proven herself a woman of incredible tenacity and strength while overcoming obstacles and adversities that have challenged her throughout her storied career. One of USA Swimming Foundation's Ambassadors, Jessica's story is truly inspiring and she sets a high bar when it comes to being a champion in the pool and in life.
