OcPlease join us for the Governor's Summit on Rural Prosperity, hosted by the Virginia Rural Center. The summit is occurring in Blackstone, Virginia at Fort Barfoot. Our evening reception will be held at the Inn at Blackstone. This multi day event will bring together local, state and private sector representatives from across Virginia to discuss innovative initiatives occurring in rural communities.

Members of the Virginia General Assembly and Governor's Cabinet should contact Kristie Proctor at varuralcenter@vt.edu to register to attend the Summit.

Registration fees are per individual attendee. Full Conference registration includes all Conference sessions, Breaks, Tuesday lunch, Tuesday Evening Reception, Wednesday breakfast and Wednesday lunch.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations will be assessed a $25 fee if the cancellation request is received by 9/29/2023. No cancellations will be accepted after 9/29/2023. Substitutions may be made with written notification and full contact information on that attendee. We need full information on the substitute.
