Bishop's Lenten Visit 2019 - St. Timothy, Tarpon Springs 

A day of discussion, fellowship and worship. Time with the Bishop will be space for conversation and visioning together. Worship will include an invitation for rostered ministers to renew their commitment to public ministry, as well as the consecration of chrism oil used in pastoral care ministry. All are invited.

9:00 - coffee and continental breakfast

9:30 - welcome and announcements

9:45 - time with Bishop Suarez

10:45 - prepare for worship

11:00 - Eucharist with renewal of consecration/ordination vows 

12:00 - sending

There is no cost for this event, but a donation to the host congregation of $5/person or $20/congregation for snacks and supplies is suggested.  This donation can be left in the basket available near the refreshments.  A separate offering during worship will be taken, designated for the ELCA Fund for Leaders.  Please make offering checks out to Florida-Bahamas Synod (with "Lenten Visit" on the memo line).
