Franchising 101
Sara Waskow, FranNet Franchise Consultant for Dallas/Fort Worth will provide an overview of franchise ownership. Learn the differences between launching a start-up business, buying an existing business, and investing in a franchise business, and find out how to decide which option is the best for a particular situation. For some people, franchise ownership may be a complete career-changing decision, while for others it may be a source of supplemental income or a retirement investment. Sara will discuss the different types of franchise opportunities, the cost and risks of starting a franchise, and how to correctly select and research franchise opportunities.
Sara has been involved in the franchise-business world for over 5 years. Her expertise is in single and multi-unit franchises, with extensive expertise in implementation of franchise systems, business operations, and regional/local marketing. She currently owns two franchises – a fitness franchise and FranNet, a franchise consulting firm.
