The Secrets to Buying a Franchise

*This will be a live online workshop via Zoom*

This workshop will provide you with the information you need to decide if franchising is the right business opportunity for you. Sara Waskow, FranNet Franchise Consultant for Dallas/Fort Worth, will teach you the benefits and challenges of owning a franchised business.

In this workshop you will learn:

  • To evaluate starting a franchise vs. an independent business vs. buying an existing business;
  • The best types of franchises for today’s economy;
  • The myths about franchising and the mistakes to avoid; 
  • The costs and risks of starting a franchise
  • How to research a franchise and determine if it’s the right choice for you;

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel you must notify us via email 7 days prior to the workshop date. A confirmation of your cancellation will be sent once it is received. Calling the SCORE Fort Worth office is not acceptable for a cancellation notice. All no-shows or cancellations after 7 days will lose their paid workshop fees.

All workshop fees must be paid in advance prior to workshop date. For security purposes we will not be able to accept payment for workshops at the door unless workshop is being held at James E. Guinn complex in Fort Worth, TX.

CANCELLATION NOTICES MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED to: Jenny Day at scorefw@gmail.com. Any other means of cancellation will not be accepted.
